Funded by a grant from local art admirer Frank Lounsberry, the art hall at Chautauqua in Boulder, Colorado, is a frame, twenty-two foot square, cottage-roofed structure with a faceted turret-entry, and transom windows all around. Lettering above the entry reads: "Art Hall." Men and women pose on the deck, in suits, bodices, feathered straw and capote hats. Stovepipes and the Flatirons are in the background.
