The post office in Englewood, Colorado, is a one-story flat- roofed brick building with a stone pediment over the door which contains an eagle with a wreath. Square columns and double-hung windows flank the entrance, and carved into the frieze is: "United States Post Office, Englewood, Colorado." A workman bends over on the steps; another paints a window frame on the side of the building. A sign reads: "This project being constructed under the control of the Treasury Department, Public Buildings Branch, Procurement Division." A sign with "Construc" is obscured by a 1920s or 1930s automobile parked at the curb; a flag pole is in front of the building.
