The post office in Englewood, Colorado, is a one-story flat- roofed brick building with a stone pediment containing an eagle with a wreath over the door. Square columns and double-hung windows flank the entrance, and carved into the frieze is: "United States Post Office, Englewood, Colorado;" the entrance stairway is stacked with boards. Workmen construct wood frames for pouring concrete for the driveway; wheelbarrows and other building tools are in the area, and a workman talks to a girl. A flagpole is in front of the building, and a 1920s or 1930s automobile is parked at the curb; a flag pole.
