Gillespie house built in 1881 on Hallam Street in Aspen, Colorado; features elements of Carpenter Gothic style architecture including: high and cross gables, decorative bargeboard, finials, faceted turrets, rectangular bays, horizontal clapboard siding, roof cresting, and open front porch with turned post supports; one turret begins at first floor and extends to the third floor and other turret projects out from the second floor, does not have a third floor, and has a rounded roof; large yard, bordered by horizontal log fence surrounds the house; house torn down after interior gutted by fire.
