They pose in front of a painted backdrop of a house and trees. Mrs. Biglow wears a dress with a tight basque bodice, buttoned up the front with ruching near the waist. The sleeves of her dress are slightly puffed and the dress has a dark lace underskirt. She holds a bouquet of artificial flowers, wears earrings and a dark bead necklace. Her daughter wears a dress with pin stripes. There is cord passementerie on the tight, buttoned bodice and sleeves. She wears a ribbon with a medal around her neck. Both women have their curled and pulled back.
