Summary	Men, women and children, some Hispanic American, stand or sit in rows and pose for a Sunday School group portrait in front of the brick St. James Methodist Episcopal Church at 1155 West Colfax, at the corner of West Colfax and 9th (Ninth) Streets in the Auraria neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. Women and girls wear dresses, hats and coats. Men and boys wear suits with neckties, hats and coats. The brick church has an arched doorway with tracery and stained glass windows. Sign cases are on either side of the doorway read; one reads: "9:45 Sunday School, 11:00 Sermon, Dr. A.C. Peck, 'Jesus and Japan.' 6:30 Epworth League and Clas[ses]." A man with a hat, suit and bow tie at the far left if identified as Henry Seyler." Shows a square tower on St. Leo's Catholic Church in the distance.
