Railroad workers use a fixed gantry crane to transfer stacks of lumber between narrow gauge flat cars, and a standard gauge gondola car in the railroad yard at Alamosa (Alamosa County), Colorado. Cables are used to hoist the bundled lumber between Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad cars.
