A group of men reenacts an attack of General George A. Custer's 7th Cavalry on Native Americans in a dirt arena during a performance of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show at Ambrose Park in Brooklyn, New York. The riders in the midground wear dark uniforms and fire guns toward the retreating Native Americans. Several of the Native Americans carry round shields and spears. A landscape scene is painted on the backdrop at the far end of the arena.
