The hotel was constructed by Louis Dupuy, the proprietor, from three separate buildings, and was completed in 1890. It has a stucco finish and signs: "Hotel de Paris" and "Louis Dupuy." Painting on the west wall shows crossed flags; a statue of Lady Justice is on the roof.
