Title	May Lillie and Pawnee Bill
Summary	May Manning Lillie leans against Gordon "Pawnee Bill" Lillie's shoulder in a full-length, studio portrait of the two performers in Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. May Lillie wears a knee-length skirt with a large sash tied around her waist. She also wears gaiters over her boots that button up to her knees. Gordon Lillie is wearing a buckskin coat with tassles and knee-length boots. He rests both hands on the end of a rifle. Both wear wide-brimmed hats. A landscape scene is painted on the backdrop behind them. May Manning, originally of Philadelphia, married Gordon ("Pawnee Bill") Lillie, also a performer in the wild west show, in 1886. he reportedly taught her to shoot and she became an outstanding performer in the show.
