Exterior view of Gold Coin Club, 413 West Diamond Avenue, Victor, Colorado. The club house (rebuilt after August 1899 fire, formally reopened in March, 1900) was constructed by Wood Investment Company for employees of Gold Coin Mine and sold after 1904 by Wood brothers to Dr. C.E. Elliot who converted it into a Red Cross hospital for over a decade, possibly when second story portico was enclosed (exact date unknown). The two-story rectangular social club building is constructed of brick with stone & wood trim, Colonial Revival style, truncated hip roof, projecting cornice with exposed rafters, classical pediment across front with decorative frieze around entire building second-story with enclosed portico (unknown when second story portico was enclosed), second story windows with two-sash (double division), Ionic columns on both floors.
