Title	Sheridan Opera House, Telluride
Summary	Interior view of Sheridan Opera House curtain from upper loge, 110 North Oak Street, Telluride, Colorado, a two hundred seat opera house used for traveling shows and dances, later as a movie theater. Shows roll curtain with Venetian scene painted by John Erickson, possibly commissioned when built in 1914 by W. S. Segerberg, owner of Sheridan Hotel. Theater was restored in 1972 by Milt Moore. Painted Venetian scene shows gondola on water next to walled stair-landing, cypress and mountains in background surrounded by gold frame; curtains are pink and gold. Proscenium arch is lit with evenly spaced lightbulbs; brass handrail with green velet curtain is along upper loge.
