Summary	midground near the tracks. A ridge of snow-capped mountains is in the distance. Construction of the railroad line to the top of Kenosha Pass (about 76 miles southwest of Denver) was completed on May 19, 1879.; Stereographic view of a Mason bogie of the Denver, South Park & Pacific Railroad heading down into South Park from the summit of Kenosha Pass in Park County, Colorado. ("Mason bogies" were engines purchased from the Mason Machine Works of Taunton, Massachusetts.) A man sits on the last of five flat cars loaded with log rail ties to continue construction of the line through South Park. Several cases, possibly for Joseph Collier's photography equipment, sit in the
