Power poles edge the dirt street; signs read: "Sale of the Season" and "Flour & grain."

G. Peabody as a Dry Goods store. They next by Roane & Sanders Dry Goods store. The next two story building by Bernard Murry's Saloon. The second floor of this building was occupied as the first District Court room. The next one story building was occupied by O. G. Stanley's law office. Next was Eugene Weston's curio store. Next T. M. Robinson's barber shop. Next Rudolph Jeske's cigar store, next Smith's Drug store. McClure House on the corner was then connected by an overhead bridge to the second story of the next building across the street on the northeast corner of 4th and Main, the Hotel office being in the later building."; R7100179656
