Summary	Memorial Church was completed at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, in 1903 and was dedicated by Jane Stanford to the memory of her late husband, Leland Stanford. The Stanfords founded the university in 1885. Four stained-glass windows, one of Isaiah, one of Judith, one of Daniel and one of Hannah, decorate the interior of the church. The top os a carved, wooden pew is in the foreground. Memorial Church was destroyed in the "great earthquake" of April, 1906.
