Memorial Church was completed at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, in 1903 and was dedicated by Jane Stanford to the memory of her late husband, Leland Stanford. The Stanfords founded the university in 1885. Four stained-glass windows, one of St. Luke, one of Dorcas, one of St. Paul and one of Martha, decorate the interior of Memorial Church. Memorial Church was destroyed in the "great earthquake" of April, 1906.
