Summary	in the left background. Fourteen men reportedly drowned in the Sleepy Hollow Mine in 1895 when water from an older and deeper mine burst through the wall between the two.; The shafthouse of the Gregory Buell Consolidated Mine and Milling Company stands in the foreground of this view of Mountain City on the outskirts of Central City in Gilpin County, Colorado. A house with a lace- work design stands across the road behind the shafthouse. The Iowa House, a hostelry, stands to the right of the shafthouse. Several mines line the hillside surrounding Mountain City, including the O'Neill Mine in the right background and the Sleepy Hollow Mine
