Several buildings stand along dirt roads, probably including Eldorado Avenue, in Eldora, a mining town in Boulder County, Colorado. The town experienced its mining boom for about two years starting in 1897, when gold tellurides and sulphides were discovered on nearby Spencer Mountain. The town was initially called Eldorado, but its name was changed to Eldora to prevent its being confused with Eldorado, California. The town was incorporated as Eldora on March 9, 1898.
