Other title: Caribou, Colorado early mine machinery 1941
Kemp, Donald Campbell, 1889-1975.
A long, covered, wooden platform is supported by wood frames along a steep hill near Caribou, a mining district in Boulder County, Colorado. The platform possibly houses a tramway used to haul ore from a mine near the top of the hill. Tramways were employed often in the 1880s to help overcome transportation problems and costs.
