Eldora resident John Graf stands with a dog on a step in front of a house, probably in Eldora. He reportedly moved to the small mining town in Boulder County, Colorado, in 1919 and made his living selling and delivering fireplace wood to other residents. He is wearing suspenders and a hat. Flowers grow in the window boxes in the house behind him. Graf died in 1943.
