Summary	Two U.S. Army tanks on a road through rolling grass-covered hills in Italy. German artillery fire is coming close to the lead tank; a white puff of smoke is visible very close to it. Taken while the photographer was serving with the Tenth Mountain Division during the Italian Campaign.
