Title	Idaho Springs school
Summary	The cornerstone to the new addition to the grade school is being laid in Idaho Springs, Colorado, in 1902. A large group of people has gathered and are standing around a triangular support apparatus made of three timbers. It is being used in the process of setting the stone into place. In the background is the remainder of the residence of Colonel William H. Doe, which was wrecked to make way for the addition. Onlookers occupy view points from rooms inside the wreckage, while others stand outside the boundary of a short new wall.

Notes	Formerly F10773.; On back of photoprint is glued a long article from The Clear Creek Mining Journal in addition to a note which reads: "The picture on reverse side hereof is the laying of the corner stone of an addition to the grade school on Colorado Avenue in Idaho Springs on October 7, 1902. The remains of the house in the background is the old residence of Col. Wm. H. Doe, who was the father of Harvey Doe, the first husband of "Baby Doe Tabor". This picture is a reproduction of the original, which is owned by John Cocks of Idaho Springs. Mr. Cocks well remembers the Doe family.
