Summary
Wearing a bow tie, John D. Rockefeller, Jr., far left, stands with two other men, Dr. R.W. Corwin, center, and Bert Mattison, right, in front of the Round Tower of the Cliff Palace ruins at Mesa Verde National Park. The remaining ruins of the cliff dwelling lie behind them. It was on this visit to Mesa Verde that Rockefeller donated funds to help complete construction of the park's museum.
