Summary	This snow covered view from the foot of Capitol Hill at Harrison Avenue and 9th (Ninth) Street in Leadville, Colorado, shows a two-story brick commercial building with two projecting bays on the corner. The Annunciation Church steeple is surrounded by roofs of wood frame residences with brick and pipe chimneys and telephone, telegraph and power poles and lines. The foreground includes a young boy, street lanterns, handbills on poles, bare trees, fire hydrants, concrete walks and boardwalks. The mining district can be seen on the slopes in the background.
