Summary
Wood carvings made by Japanese students in adult education classes are exhibited at the Arts and Crafts Festival, Granada Relocation Center, Camp Amache, Prowers County, southeastern Colorado. Subject matter includes traditional Japanese objects such as carp, bamboo, birds, cranes, landscapes, pears, and Japanese characters. Western themes include a United States flag, horses, and pheasants. Signs on front of display read: "Adult Education, Woodcarving" and "Please Do Not Touch."
