Summary
Panoramic view of men and women from an advanced shorthand class in costume for a play in front of the entrance to the Opportunity School (later the Emily Griffith Opportunity School) at 13th (Thirteenth) and Welton Streets in downtown Denver, Colorado. Women in costume hold trays with bread and wear Union Pacific food service uniforms. One woman wears a Statue of Liberty costume; another wears a frilly robe over a dress. Emily Griffith has a lace collar and poses between two men dressed in 18th century knickers, stockings, jackets and wigs.
