Title	"Christ is Risen" probably Easter program
Summary	Members of the choir of the Presbyterian Church in Greeley, Colorado, in Weld County, pose on a circular stage for the Easter service. Numerous potted plants are around the perimeter of the stage and on tables among the members of the choir. Several participants hold instruments. A banner in the back of the room reads "Christ is Risen."

Notes	Formerly F40904.; Hand-written on back of photoprint: "Easter lillies can be seen, Presbyterian Church, Rev. Hunter, Mr. Glazier (coronet), Mr. Dunham, base, Lucy Delbridge, violin."; Photoprint has yellowed; the card to which it is attached has yellowed, is ripped, and has been taped.; Title hand-written on back of photoprint.; Typed on paper and included with photoprint: 7/20/1970 checked out the following at the library: Trib. 4/7/1898 gives program "Special song Services Easter Sunday, Morning and Evening" of Evening Serv it states: Sacred cantata "King Triumphant" by Finlay Lyon, descriptive of the life of Christ, complete with solos and chorus and especially composed for Easter service, interspersed with readings and sermon by Rev. R.J. Hunter. Music by full orchestra, under direction of E.A. Garlichs."Miss Lucy Delbridge played an offertory violin solo at the morning service." "Trib 4/14/1898: 'Easter at First Prebys Church 'Last Sabbath the Easter services in the above church were of a most interest in character [description of sermon]' The music by the choir, under the direction of Prof. Garlichs, was most appropriate and well rendered" "In the evening the church was crowded with a congregation which enjoyed a most profitable service. The choir presented the sacred cantata 'The King Triumphant' in a manner which delighted everybody. Great credit is due not only the members of the choir, but also to Professor Garlichs who trained it..."; R7100091280
