Orville J. Turley, escapee from the State Penitentiary in Canon City, Colorado, lays dead in the snow. Convicted for the 1915 murder of Emma G. Wise in Denver, this was how his second escape attempt ended. Men in Fedoras and trenchcoats and guards in uniform mill in the area; a prisoner in handcuffs is being led away.
