View of men in front of a log barn, at what is identified as Colonel Torry's M Ranch, in Hat Creek (Niobrara County), Wyoming. The barn has a gabled roof, a transom over a main entrance and cupolas with vents. Men are identified left to right as: "Frank W. DeCastro, Harry Williams- C.R. boy, Ike Harris, Walt Sampson, Ike Williams, Jack Williams, James McKee- telegraph operator at Hat Creek, Bill Vail - (sod corn), Jack Burge - a foreman, Louie Stein, Harry Patterson - standing on fort in Elk Horns, C.A. Guernsey - 999 owner, Frank A. Watt, Hat Creek store."
