Workmen lower a marble panel onto a platform at the Denver Police Memorial located in the courtyard of the Police Administration Building at Cherokee Street and Fourteenth (14th) Street in the Civic Center Neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The monument is an engraved marble triptych. The center panel reads: "Denver Police, In Memory of Our Fallen Officers, By the Denver Police Protective Association, 1991." The flanking panel is engraved with a quote from Julian Lewis. The third panel is suspended in the air. Buildings in the distance include the Denver City and County Building, the Carnegie building, and the U.S. West Building.
