Summary	An elderly woman identified as Mrs. M.C. Keith sits in a large hand-carved wood chair probably in Lander, Wyoming. Mrs. Keith wears a hat, floral dress, dark colored coat, and holds a purse on her lap. The chair is identified as having once belonged to Ester Hobart Morris, women's suffrage advocate, and the first woman elected to the position of Justice of the Peace in the United States.

Notes	Condition: glue residue on corners of photograph.; Handwritten not on back of print reads: "Mrs. M.C. Keith sitting [in] handmade chair used by Mrs. Esther Morris when she was Justice of the Peace at South Pass City, Wyoming, 1870. Mrs. Morris was first woman in world to be appt. [sic] J.P.
