Notes
Title typed on paper and attached to back of photoprint.; Typed on paper and attached to back of photoprint: "James H. Johnson & Associates, Architects. The new building was finished in 1964 in conjunction with the Adams County Golf Course and includes a lounge, snack bar, pro shop, storage for golf carts and miscellaneous service functions. The actual site chosen for the building was treeless and therefore the building was designed with a very large gabled roof, creating shelter from the sunlight and the elements, supported by a simple concrete structure. the large reinforced concrete columns are cantilevered from the foundation and receive the thrust from the untied gabled wood roof. Within the space is a concrete fireplace providing the center of interest in the lounge. The large roof overhang shelters the exterior lounge and eating spaces."; R7100089500
