Summary	View of a Joie de Vivre Club function. A group of African American (Black) and white women stand around a table in Denver, Colorado. The table is littered with the remains of a reception including soiled plates, empty pitchers, half filled : hors d'oeuvre platters, and glasses. Paper decorations in the shape of hearts are taped on the front of the table cloth. The women wear casual dresses. Several women wear hats including one turban. An older woman has a fox stole draped over her arm.
