The remains of Arrow (Arrowhead), Colorado, destroyed by fire are on snowcovered slopes with stumps, charred tree trunks, and new growth. Middle Park is in the distance. A large coal dock station was constructed by Hewitt Construction to keep the many engines fueled during the war years. Parked railroad cars are on the tracks and the log depot. One lone house and a few outer structures are on hill above railway. Arrow was the first incorporated town in Grand County in 1904.
