Summary
View towards the domed tower of the Ramona Hotel, a popular Ute Pass resort, located in Cascade, (Cascade Canon) at the foot of Pikes Peak on the Midland Terminal Railroad and on the Pikes Peak Highway, El Paso County, Colorado, includes a street scene busy with excursion horse-drawn carriages loaded with tourists. The carriages have canvas tops and signs painted on side: "Pikes Peak Carriage Lines Hundley & Carlile?" The three- story hotel has encircling verandas around the striped dome and conical roof towers. The hotel opened in 1889 and was razed in 1920.
