Title	Caribou, Colorado, in its days of glory
Summary	View northwest from Goat Hill over Caribou (9800 feet), Boulder County, Colorado, includes streets lined with log, board and batten, wood frame false fronts, gabled and lean-to structures. Many have external timber braces for protection against the wind blowing from the Continental Divide. Businesses on Potosi Street include stores, saloons, restaurants and the post office. The three-story Sherman House hotel is on the corner of Potosi and Sherman streets. The schoolhouse is on a slope of stumps and "Baldly Mountain" (Bald Mountain) with light snow shows beyond the town.
