Summary	A group of men pose in front of wood frame and log businesses in Alpine, Chaffee County, Colorado. Four men sit on the boardwalk by the two- story false front Badger Hotel, named for the Badger State of Wisconsin, where owners Captain Ford and John T. Swain originated. Sign on another false front reads "Wholesale Liquor Dealer" and "Bakery and Lunch". Two women in long dresses are beside a board and batten false front.
