Pedestrians and horse drawn carriages use the beginning of the 14th (Fourteenth) Street viaduct along Cherry Creek in Denver, Colorado. The completed viaduct features, a iron rod fence, asphalt roads, flagstone sidewalks and rock ashlar retaining walls. The Denver City Hall and local businesses are in the background. The viaduct began at 14th and Wazee and ended at 14th and Platte Street. It was later replaced by Speer Boulevard. Construction on the viaduct began in 1897 and was completed in 1899.
