The train ready to depart from Fort Logan, a World War I assembly point for young soldiers, Colorado. Many wear uniforms consisting of jackets with breast pockets, jodhpurs, gaiters, boots and wide brim hats with Montana creases. Some are in civilian clothes and carry luggage.
