Summary	Officers look on as infantry men board Pullman sleeping cars headed up by a Denver and Rio Grande 113 Class 2-8-0 freight engine No. 589. The train ready to depart from Fort Logan, a World War I assembly point for young soldiers, Colorado. Many wear uniforms consisting of jackets with breast pockets, jodhpurs, gaiters, boots and wide brim hats with Montana creases. Some are in civilian clothes and carry luggage.
