View of the McClellan House on Taos Street, Georgetown, Colorado, built in the early 1870s by Erskine McClellan. The wood-construction house's gable end faces the street; painted shingles fill the point, under the eaves, and there are four tall double hung windows on both floors; boards imitating ashlar masonry are on the corners. The windows have unusual decorative cornices created from boards. A small diagonal fence to the right of the front partially hides a sign reading, "Draper;" A stone fence runs in front of the building.
