Summary	View of Georgetown, Colorado, looking south toward the valley leading to Silver Plume, where the High Bridge of the Georgetown Loop is visible. In the foreground is Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, the priest's residence, school, and hospital re located at approximately Eleventh (11th) and Main Streets. The church is a gable roofed brick Gothic Revival building with pointed-arched windows windows, a rib-vaulted apse, and a spire with a cross. The brick hospital has a roof that slopes to the back and is two-storied. Other small buildings and trees are in the area. Visible landmarks in the grid-plan town include the Cushman Block, on Sixth (6th, Alpine) Street; the schoolhouse, on Taos Street; the tower of the Alpine Hose Company No. 2 firehouse on Fifth Street; Grace Episcopal Church, the Presbyterian Church, and the Methodist Church, all on Taos; and numerous mine entrances. City Park, between Rose and Taos Streets and north of Tenth (10th) Street is clearly visible with walkways and young trees.
