Claim reads: "Notice of location of a quartz claim notice is hereby given to all whom it may concern that I the undersigned Philip O'Rourke a citizen of the United States having complied with the revised statutes of the United States and the local Land Customs and Regulations, have this day located 1500 feet along the course of this vein, lode, ledge, or deposit of mineral bearing rock, together with 600 feet of surface ground in width, 600 feet running easterly, and 900 feet running westerly, and 300 feet in width on each side of centre line and more particularly described as follows. Commencing at this notice and running 600 feet easterly to east centre end stake no. 1, thence 300 feet northerly to N.E. corner stake no. 2, thence 1500 feet westerly to N.W. corner stake no. 3, thence 300 feet southerly to west-centre end stake no. 4, thence 300 feet southerly to S.W. cor stake no. 5, thence 1500 feet easterly to S.E. corner no.6, thence 300 feet northerly to east-centre end stake no.1, or place of beginning. This claim is situated on Milo Creek near the Forks and is about 2 miles S.E. of Jack Ass Prairie. Yreka Mining District - Shoshone Co. Idaho Territory, and lies north of the Richmond and shall be known as the Bunker Hill Lode, and said Bunker Hill Lode lies south of the Stem Winder owned by S. R. Devine. Discovered Sept 4th 1885.
