Buildings line either side of the dirt Main Street in Breckenridge, Colorado. The Arlington House on the left has a curvelinear false front with a wide cornice and an open porch with a balcony. Other half false fronted buildings flank it; one with the word "drugs" in its gable has a mortar and pestle on a pole fronting it. The Denver Hotel shows its paired gable arched balcony. Across the street is the belfry of the Fireman's Hall and its hose drying tower. Horses, wagons and pedestrians are on the boardwalk.
