The Summit County Courthouse, in Breckenridge, Colorado, is a two story brick building with a hipped gable roof, a slightly projecting gabled entry, and a cupola with sash windows. The cornice is dentiled all around. The lintels, sills, entablature and pendants are of local cut stone; the entry has a stone pedimented head with lettering that reads "Summit County." Construction debris surrounds the new edifice; a man works in the left, perhaps filling a sandbag.
