In this view of Spruce Creek Falls south of Breckenridge, Colorado, a narrow crevice in jagged, stepped stone allows passage of the creek's water, which makes various turns and drops as it approaches the foreground. Evergreens grow from cracks in the rock, and from the notch where the water spills over.
