Fireman's Hall on Main Street in Breckenridge, Colorado, is a two story frame building featuring a gable roof with flat side extensions, a belfry, and a plate glass ground floor front with transoms. Lettering on the three front windows reads "Independent Hose" "Pioneer Hose" and "Blue River Hose" representing the three groups sharing the building. Sash windows cross the second floor, which is finished with clapboard siding. The firefighter's hook and ladder wagon is parked in front, with ladders, lanterns and buckets. Ladders lean against the building, and firemen in uniform are ranged throughout: around the wagon, on the ladders, and on the roof and belfry; holding buckets, axes, and horns. Moved to this location in the summer of 1888, this edifice was also used as a town meeting and social hall, and could accomodate up to 275 people.
