Exterior view of the Iron Springs Hotel in Manitou Springs, Colorado, looking southwest. Rebuilt in 1884 after a fire, this three story frame structure with clipped cross gabled roof has a dormer, a chimney, and a finial on the roof peak, and is the first part completed. The porch and balcony have a jigsaw work in the balustrade and piers. People are sitting on the porch and stoop, and a horse and buggy with driver and passenger are to the left of the steps. At the top of the steps is an urn with flowers in it. A sign under the dormer reads: 'Iron Springs House'. To the right is a one story frame structure and a tent for overflow visitors.
