Interior view of the Hamill House, in Georgetown, Colorado, built by Joseph Watson and later acquired by mine owner William A. Hamill in 1874; shows a suspended brass chandelier, originally gas but converted to electricity, with six curvilinear arms. Three hold pleated glass shades open upwards, and three open downwards. The arms connect to a vertical oval filigree element at the end of a straight metal suspending pipe attached to the ceiling. A small electrical fixture adjacent connects to the ceiling ornament of the chandelier. The wallpaper is printed with an irregular linear pattern, and wallpaper on the wall, including a border, is indistinctly visible.
