Summary |
Native American (Ute) women and children pose outside a tepee at Monument Valley Park, El Paso County, Colorado. They are identified as, back row, left to right: Ruby (Stone) Kent and Amy (Kent) Snow. Front row, left to right: Amy Snow's daughters Kate (Snow) Knight and her unidentified infant daughter. Ruby Kent wears a plaid dress, has a blanket wrapped around her shoulders, and wears a silver and bead necklace. Amy Snow, her daughter, wears her hair in braids, silver hoop earrings, a buckskin dress, a wool scarf, and a patterned silk shawl. Kate, the young girl, wears a white cotton dress with puff sleeves and lace trim, a silver and bead necklace, earrings and beaded moccasins. The baby is in a laced, buckskin cradleboard. |
